History
Founded in 1906, Racing Club de Lens — the Sang et Or (Blood and Gold) — are the heartbeat of France's northern coal-mining country and one of the most passionately supported clubs in the land. Lens were crowned champions of France in 1998, their sole league title, and also lifted the Coupe de la Ligue in 1999.
