Buying Inter Milan tickets: what to know

The matches that sell out first

Derbies, title deciders and European knockout nights go fastest and cost the most. For those, booking weeks ahead gives you far more choice of seats.

Away matches

Tickets for away matches are usually in home-fan sections. Leave club colours at the hotel and do not celebrate openly — stewards can remove you.

Buying for a group or family

Every listing tells you whether its seats can be sat together, so keep an eye on that detail before you buy. Prices are per ticket, and children need their own ticket.

About Inter Milan

History

Founded in 1908, FC Internazionale Milano — Inter, or the Nerazzurri — are one of the giants of Italian and European football and the only club to have competed in Italy's top flight in every season since its foundation. Inter have won 21 Serie A titles, 10 Coppa Italia trophies and three European Cups/Champions Leagues. In 2010, under José Mourinho, they became the first Italian club to win the treble, and they returned to the Champions League final in both 2023 and 2025.

San Siro

Inter play their home matches at the legendary San Siro (officially the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza), one of the most famous stadiums in world football, with a capacity of around 75,000. Shared with rivals AC Milan since 1947, its towering, steep stands and spiralling ramps create a thunderous atmosphere on the biggest nights. The ground is served by the Milan Metro Line 5 (M5) to San Siro Stadio.

The 2026/27 Squad

Under head coach Cristian Chivu, a former Inter defender, the reigning Italian champions are captained by talismanic striker Lautaro Martínez, the club's top scorer with 22 goals last season. He is partnered in attack by France forward Marcus Thuram, while a formidable spine features goalkeeper Yann Sommer, defender Alessandro Bastoni, and midfield generals Nicolò Barella and Hakan Çalhanoğlu.

2026/27 Expectations

As reigning Serie A and Coppa Italia champions, Inter begin the season as the team to beat in Italy. Cristian Chivu's side aims to defend the Scudetto, add to the trophy cabinet in the Coppa Italia, and go one step further in the UEFA Champions League after coming so close in recent finals. This is a squad built to compete on every front.

Key Matches

The biggest night of the season is the Derby della Madonnina against city rivals AC Milan — one of the most spectacular derbies in world football, contested in a shared San Siro. Also unmissable is the Derby d'Italia against Juventus, along with the heavyweight clashes with Napoli and Roma, and the electric Champions League nights at the San Siro. These marquee games sell out the fastest, so early planning is essential.
